The Who and the Why

Greetings!

You might be wondering who we are. Well too bad for you. All you get to know is that we are a couple of college students that want to share our secrets with someone. Yeah, we know that someone's already stolen that idea *coughPostSecretcough*, but frankly we don't care. We've sent in a few secrets to Post Secret, but we want to share them with more than just Frank.

However, to amuse you all we can divulge to you a little bit more information that just secret sharing college kids. First off, there are two of us that are co-authoring this blog. One of us is an engineering student, the other is an advertising student. Ironically, the engineering student was in art classes in high school and the advertising student was in lots of math and science classes in high school. One of us is Christian, the other is irreligious. One of us is an only child, the other has one sibling. One of us studied martial arts, the other played team sports (soccer and basketball). Oh well, life is full of ironies.

However, life is full of so much more than ironies. It's full of highs and lows, especially in this chapter of our lives. And despite differences that would normally be cause for enmity, the two of us have been great friends for a long time. (A common taste for extreme sarcasm and intolerance of stupidity can do wonders like that)

We believe in simple things. That the human race is capable of good. That stupidity should be frowned upon. That common sense should be common place. That the Government should stay out of our day-to-day affairs. That everyone should look out for the little guy. That people should lighten up. That people should also put on their big boy undies and deal with it when something doesn't exactly go as they want it. That tolerance, honesty, chivalry and friendship should be valued above almost everything else. That families should be close. That real love is out there. That sometimes life sucks. That people should sometimes mind their own business. That people should be able to look out for themselves, but not be hesitant to lend a helping hand.

But most of all, we believe that we all need friends that stick with you through the thick and thin. That will celebrate with you when life is good, and be a strong support when you're down.
